Welcome to the Web site of Harriet Silverstein, widely exhibited fine artist and art teacher who lives in South Florida. Ms. Silverstein’s paintings, drawings and prints have been shown throughout the United States and Europe. She has also completed a number of corporate commissions for major corporations, fine restaurants and major hotels throughout the United States. She studied fine art and art history at Brown University, the State University New York at Albany, l’Academie des Arts Decoratif in Strasbourg, France and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine. Ms. Silverstein has taught fine art, art history and architectural history at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, Queensborough Community College in Bayside, NY, Broward County Public Schools in Florida and the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston, Florida. Ms. Silverstein’s artwork has been featured in a number of major publications, including the New York Times and Newsday.
